  • Intention. Make pure Intention to reach Ramadan in the best state of health and faith and take care of your mental, spiritual and physical health
  • Dua list. Supplication is an incredible weapon that can transform our lives and bring miraculous outcomes. Allah (swt) says: “And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me—indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of every supplicant when he calls upon Me […]” (Qur’an 2:186). We can ask everything from Allah. Write down all duas on your notebook or on phone and ask Almighty at all times.
  • Learn the importance of Ramadan. Read more books and listen to lectures about Ramadan and prepare best of yourself for Holy month
  • Make a Goal List. Make Realistic goals and remember that The Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) said: The dearest of actions to Allah is that which is done regularly, even if it is small.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
  • Prepare your Eid Clothes and Eid Presents. Your outfits and gifts should be ready before Ramadan starts. Try to be maximum Productive and do not waste your precious time shopping.
  • Organize your House. Declutter the house, make sure that everything has its own place. Get rid of clothes which you do not wear, if they are new and in good condition, clean them and give them for charity.
  • Practice Sunnah of fasting on Monday and Thursday. Not only it is Sunnah, but it is good and practical preparation as well.
  • Plan Ramadan menu. Shop for and store all dry items that you will need. It will save precious time and energy. Prepare and freeze if needed. Dear Sisters, Ramadan is not a cooking month, it is a worshipping month. Do not feel guilty to order food home. Ask your husband to help you with house chores and cooking.
  • Start eating less from now. Train yourself to stay hungry for a little more time each day. Practise increasing your stamina by multitasking during long fasting hours. Temper may rise quickly on empty stomach. Learn to be calm and control your anger.
  • Salawat and Dhikr. Develop a habit to recite Salawat and always keep your mind and tongue with remembrance of Creator.
