2.Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University

  Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University is Brunei’s second university. It was established in 2007 as the first national Islamic university in Brunei. The idea to open a second university in Brunei was first addressed by His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah in his Titah delivered at University of Brunei Darussalam’s 16th convocation in 2004 and again in 2005 at UBD’s 17th convocation whereby His Majesty had stated that the second university shall be an Islamic university. The overall aim of the new university is to become a centre for the spread of Islam in the region.

3.Laksamana College of Business

  The Laksamana College of Business (or LCB), (Malay: Kolej Perniagaan Laksamana) is an accredited private university college in Brunei Darussalam. It was the first British college opening a campus as a foreign educational institution in the country through its partnership with Kensington College of Business in the United Kingdom, University of Chester, and Abdul Razak Holdings, Brunei Darussalam.

4.Kemuda Institute

  Kemuda Institute (KI) is a private college in Brunei. It was established in 2004 and has campuses in Beribi in Bandar Seri Begawan and Kuala Belait in Belait District. Kemuda Institute mainly provides vocational courses in computing and information technology, leading up to BTEC qualification by Pearson as well as diplomas by NCC Education, two UK-based vocational qualifications providers.The current Chairman of Kemuda Institute is Abdul Razak bin Muhammad, who is also the founder of the college.

  Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) is an Engineering and Technology University in Brunei Darussalam that specialises in the niche areas of Engineering, Business, Computing, Applied Sciences & Mathematics, and Design.

  UTB was first established in 1986 as Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB). In 2008, ITB was upgraded from a higher learning institution offering Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Engineering, Business and Computing to a university, and was then changed to Universiti Teknologi Brunei on 1 March 2016. UTB specialises in the area of Engineering, Business, Computing, Applied Sciences & Mathematics and Design.
