1. University Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas)
Kota Samarahan, Sarawak is home to UUniversity of Malaysia, Sarawak, a public institution in Malaysia. The 24th of December 1992 saw the official incorporation of UNIMAS. In the most recent QS World University Rankings, UNIMAS was listed as the 200th best Asian university.
In 1993, when the faculties of social sciences and resource science and technology were opened, the university admitted its first group of 118 students. Prior to 1994, when the university moved to its East Campus in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, these students were temporarily housed in Telekom Training College in Simpang Tiga, Kuching. On August 31, 1993, Independence Day, the Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, formally inaugurated the University’s East Campus at Kota Samarahan.

In 2000, the Sarawak campus opened in Kuching, the state capital of Sarawak, Malaysia.The Sarawak government and Swinburne Australia collaborated to build the campus. The campus is a component of Swinburne Australia’s long-term plan to internationalize its operations and give its students access to living, working, and studying opportunities abroad. Swinburne Australia was founded in 1908.
3. Limkokwing University of Creative Technology
Private worldwide university Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (also known as Limkokwing) has locations in Asia, Europe, and Africa. The university, which has its main campus in Malaysia, has campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Kuching, Botswana, Cambodia, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Eswatini, Uganda, and the United Kingdom. It also has more than 30,000 students from more than 150 nations studying there. It is regarded as one of the best art and design colleges in Asia and has a high QS Ranking among Asian institutions.
4. UCSI University Sarawak Campus
In 1986, UCSI University was founded. The school, which was once known as the Canadian Institute of Computer Studies, has changed throughout time. It changed its name to Sedaya College in 1990 and then to Sedaya International College. It changed its name to University College Sedaya International (UCSI) in 2003, and then to UCSI University in 2008 when it expanded into a full university. The KL Campus, Sarawak Campus, and Terengganu Campus are the three campuses that make up UCSI University.

5. Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the biggest institution of higher learning in Malaysia in terms of size and population, is housed on the UCSI University Sarawak Campus, which is located in Kuching, Sarawak. Since its founding in 1956, it has grown extraordinarily, and it continues to develop.
